Okefenokee Swamp in GA

The Okefenokee Swamp (‘The Land of the Trembling Earth’) is one of Georgia’s  most life-filled nature environments.

Curled with creeks and tributaries of sepia-hued water, the swamp is home to both year-round and migratory birds.

It is also filled with  alligators, black bears, and otters.

With several entrances near Folkston, Waycross, and Fargo, Georgia’s visitors are never far away from one the most wondrous natural sanctuaries on Earth.
