NJ: Birding for Beginners

Teaneck, NJ, exit 70: Interested in birdwatching, but not sure how to get started? Here is an opportunity from the Bergen County Audubon Society to learn how to identify birds, and how to choose and use binoculars and field guides properly.

You then get to take a stroll  around this conservancy to practice your newly acquired skills. Since this is migration period, you never know what you’re going to see.

Best of all,  this interesting program is free to all.
