PA: From Philadelphia to Monaco – Grace Kelly

Doylestown, PA:  Buck County’s James A. Michener Art Museum is presenting the exhibition, From Philadelphia to Monaco: GRACE KELLY Beyond the Icon, which illustrates the path of this unique fairytale of a Philadelphia girl to European princess.

The fascination never ends with the love story of the Prince of Monaco meets American silver screen legend and the exhibition allows visitors an opportunity to discover the too short life of Grace Kelly (1929-1982), beyond the fairy tale.

Grace Kelly became Princess Grace of Monaco upon her marriage to Prince Rainier III on April 18, 1956. The exhibit brings an up close account of the stage and screen legend, fashion icon, princess, United Nations ambassador, and international spokesperson for arts and culture.

On display you will find private letters, photographs, awards, couture fashion and other personal objects, as well as film clips, playbills, home movies and other mementos from her acting career all from the archives of the Palace of Monaco and the Grimaldi Forum.
