FL: “Coded Couture” Exhibit Combines Fashion and Technology

Melbourne, FL  I-95 S Exit 180: Fashionistas, who wouldn’t want a garment constructed to fit you body exclusively while incorporating in the design all your likes and dislikes?

Named one of last year’s “best fashion exhibits”, Coded Couture is an innovative traveling exhibition presenting garments, video projections, objects, drawings, photographs, and interactive elements by 10 national and international designers. The idea of customization has always been at the heart of couture. The gown made to fit you, perfectly; the hand-beading, hand-stitching and other time-consuming processes involved in the creation of couture garments that reinforce the notion of the piece as a work of art with a specific affinity to the wearer.

The digital age has introduced a new approach to personalized fashion and couture.  Coded Couture has an exciting range of new tools and approaches that allow haute couture to be customizable and personalized far beyond what has been seen before in the fashion world.3-APR Image SMALL
