Florida diving just doesn’t get any better than in St. Lucie. Located in the heart of the Treasure Coast, where a 1715 Spanish Fleet sank…just one of the reasons St. Lucie is a diver’s paradise.
The shipwrecks are easily accessible to divers-only 200 yards offshore in some cases-and are just some of the many unique dive sites found off of St. Lucie’s sunny shores (including some of that are directly accessible from the beach).
Dozens of wrecks and numerous artificial and natural reefs await you on the ocean floor.
In order to provide better areas to fish and dive and to enhance local fisheries, artificial reefs, are being deployed to provide additional hard bottom areas.
These reefs have been created using donated heavy concrete and steel materials like culverts, concrete pilings, light poles, and steel vessels.
