NC: See How Fast You Can Seed Cotton or Grind Corn

Halifax, NC Exit 168: Halifax County Harvest Days is a fun and educational event held at the 4-H Rural Life Center in Halifax, NC.

Bring your family and step back in time to mid-century life on the farm: antique tractors, Horse Show, hay rides, a Saw Mill from the 1920s,  4-H Activities,   the NC Horse Council Trail Challenge, crafts, games, rides and live entertainment will make this a great day for the whole family.

Take part in the North Carolina heritage events with farm-related recreation for all generations. Kids can see how fast they can seed cotton or grind corn, and don’t miss the peanut threshing. There’s festival food including beef and pork roast, Brunswick stew, hot dogs and free cookies. Admission and parking free.
