MD: Where to Buy Edible Plants and Trees

MD Exit 100: Terra Joy Edible Landescapes is a specialty nursery which sells and teaches you about the ground to plate movement and the concept of food as medicine. Woody and Christine Carter grow and sell plants and shrubs that provide fruit, aromatic herbs , wellness herbs, and medicinal plants.

For people who like to grow their own food or those who would like to learn how to do it, this is a must stop.  In season, you can buy plants and trees to grow blueberries, kiwis, raspberries, figs, blackberries, cherries, plums and pomegranates.  Some trees and plants are already 2-3 years old so they are ready to bear fruit. There are some gifty items:  bath salts, herb pillows, baskets of dried flowers. You can also cut your own flowers for your home or for a present.
