Exit 52: For a real coffee fix, pull over into Demolition Coffee with its urban vibe. We loved the dark chocolate mocha latte with its flower design in the cream which floated on top the whole way down. Drivers might need the red eye (espresso + coffee). Beyond the java, there are fun-named sandwiches and Wilma’s divine baked goods – a fabulous eclair with fresh custard inside and gooey thickly-iced cupcakes.
Bub in Da Club is most popular sandwich (on panini, rye, croissant or wrap): turkey, ham, bacon, swiss and cheddar. There’s Lizard Lips veggie burger or even JV’s lunchbox (grilled almond butter and banana drizzle with honey) and Ringo Fatman. Breakfasts (the Skinny Man), Grandma Rita’s quiche and salads, the Wolfganger is Caribbean chicken, island slaw and swiss.
Wash it all down with Italian soda, Kerry cherry coke, smoothies or a dirty soy banana latte. Kids can have a Logan’s latte: steamed milk + one flavor.
