Rising Sun, MD Exit 100: Kilby Cream is more than just an ice cream shop. If you have kids in the car, it’s a great place to stop because there’s a playground and a petting zoo. The family has been in the dairy business for over 100 years and takes pride in making their own ice cream.
They offer ice cream in over 23 flavors, and there’s sugar-free too. Seasonal flavors allow them to create over 50 varieties. Using local ingredients that might be: Strawberry Cheesecake, Peach, Black Raspberry or Caramel Apple. You can pick up a cup or cone of course, but there’s also mooshakes, sundaes, and banana splits. If you want something refreshing, try a snoball, iced coffee or smoothie. There’s a selection of pints, ice cream cakes, pies and bonbons for you to enjoy in the car.
You can have your ice cream in a cup or cone, but be sure to try the waffle cones made fresh in the store.
