You can go back in time at the French and Indian War Encampment at Fort Ticonderoga on June 27-28 where they will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the French and Indian War with as over 1,200 reenactors gathering.
The reenactors will depict Colonial American, British, French and Native American forces – in numbers approaching those present here in 1758 during the Battle of Carillon fought on the Fort grounds. Highlights of the weekend include authentically recreated military camps, merchant “sutlers” selling 18-century styled wares, and daily military demonstrations.
