The State House Inns of Providence are offering a promotion valid until April 30, 2009. Guests who stay at one of these Inns til then will receive a Gulf Oil gift card which is usable at any Gulf station in the USA. Gas cards will be presented at check-out in accordance with the following schedule: Stay one night = $10 card, stay 2 nights = $20 card, stay 3 or more nights = $40.00 card. State House Inns are two family owned inns: the Mowry-Nicholson House Inn and the Christopher Dodge House. You can’t get much closer to I-95 than these inns which overlook the magnificent RI State Capitol. You can walk from them to downtown, to the Providence Mall or the fitness center (free pass). The Mowry-Nicholson House is an 1856 Victorian home with 13 rooms, with wifi, fan, and AC/heat controls in the rooms. In nice weather breakfast could be on the porch. The Christopher Dodge House is a circa 1865 Brick Italianate mansion with 14 rooms and fireplaces. Both inns offer king beds, private baths, cable TV, telephone, desks, wifi and and free on site parking. A full gourmet breakfast is served daily as well as fresh fruit, juice, home baked pastries and yogurt.
Additionally, both are offering a “Spring Special”. For a limited time, all rooms are at the Promotional Rate of $99 per night for stays of 2 nights or more on weekdays (Sunday through Thursday). This offer is valid for stays through May 31, 2009.
