The Richmond Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has a wonderful exhibition called “Dynasty and Divinity: Ife Art in Ancient Nigeria” that features some of the most important examples of brass, copper, stone and terracotta sculpture from West Africa ever to be shown in the United States.
