While searching for the Northwest Passage, British Captain George Vancouver explored this northwest area. On May 19, 1792, Vancouver anchored off what is now Seattle. He sent Lieutenant Peter Puget south to explore what became the body of water named after him, Puget Sound.

The Victoria Clipper is a speedy and fun way to zip across the water from Victoria, British Columbia in Canada to Seattle, Washington in the US. 

I wouldn’t want to go boating with these in my boat but they sure are beautiful to look at. Even the reflection in the water is beautiful. See them at Chihuly Garden and Glass in Seattle, WA.

Approximately 2.3 billion people in the world do not have access to toilets. This leads to soil contamination and the spread of diseases. This toilet contains, removes, treats and disposes of waste.

Notice the water streams of the fountain are projecting out of about a dozen dogs. Dog sculptures are in this cute park in downtown Toronto.

Never thought about where you park your gondola when you are off work. Notice the other boats tucked along the buildings. Front doors are often on the canals.
