Once again, the International Festival of Arts & Ideas offers a wide range of events during their annual festival highlighting the many facets of the arts. “Across Borders, Across Time” serves as this year’s theme.
The Silk Road Ensemble with artistic director Yo-Yo Ma opens the 16th annual Festival with a free concert on the New Haven Green on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. Over 80% of the events offered during the festival are free of charge.
