Sleep in a Caboose in SC

Even if you are not a camper, you just may want to think about this sleeping option.

At this RV park, you can stay overnight in a converted caboose, a trolley car or in a little Hansel and Gretel cabin.

The caboose is actually sitting on train tracks and has a front and back platform; the log cottage has a porch and wooden swing and just enough room for the beds.

The trolley came here all the way from Charleston and is glass windowed, so you have the whole outside inside during the day, but can close the blinds at night. The facilities are sparse – bring your own sheets, pillows or sleeping bags to put on the double bed for the folks and 2 singles for the kids. They have heat and AC, but no bathrooms. For those and for showers, there’s the main shower building nearby.

Take advantage of the whole RV park with lakes, forests, picnic grounds, etc. for your enjoyment.
