This is the longest battleship ever built (by 3″) and America’s most decorated one, and it has served in every military conflict of the 20th century.
Now it’s a floating museum in Camden, NJ with exhibits on the history and design of battleships, a 4D flight simulator ride and amazing tours which include the combat engagement center where you can participate in a missile launch.
We’ve saved the best part for last – on Friday and Saturday evenings in the summer you can sleep on board in the sailors’ bunks, chow down in their mess hall and wake to Reveille.
