The Colonial Coast Birding Trail in GA

The trail is is a portion of the Atlantic Flyway, lists 18 birding sites so ‘featherbrains’ can view the more than 300 species that fly Georgia’s coastal skies.

Depending on the season and tides, birders have a chance to see exotic species like the endangered wood stork, the vibrant painted bunting and the pink-plastered roseate spoonbill.
