NH,Ct exit 47 If you are driving along I-95 on April 24th and wondering how you can be seeing a rainbow at night,you would actually be enjoying a laser light sculpture by American artist Yvette Mattern, presented to kick-off citywide celebrations of the 375th Anniversary of New Haven.
The exhibition will run for four nights, beginning April 24th.
The artwork utilizes specially designed lasers to project a large scaleabstraction of the natural rainbow and will shine the light of local celebration beyond city limits, inviting people from near and far to a birthday celebration for one of the oldest cities in Connecticut.
As an added bonus, New Haven Restaurant Week runs Sunday, April 21 through Friday, April 26.
