East Haddam, CT Exit 70 : Set along the tranquil Connecticut River watching a show in the intimate theater of the Goodspeed Opera House bring you closer to the excitement of live musicals. The company is all about producing and preserving the American musical, while simultaneously reinventing the classics for new audiences.
Making its Goodspeed debut is the international smash “Fiddler on the Roof” running from June 27- Sept 7. This musical boasts the iconic songs “If I Were a Rich Man,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “Matchmaker” and more.
The season continues with “Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn“, running from Sept 19 – Nov 30.
Views of the river can be enjoyed before the show when dining at Gelston House , which is conveniently located right next door to Goodspeed.
For a special evening try the Friday Dinner Theatre Package which includes a three-course dinner at the Gelston House, and a ticket to a Friday 8 pm performance at Goodspeed Opera House for $79.
