CT: Old Lyme’s Midsummer Festival

Old Lyme, CT Exit 70: Old Lyme’s Midsummer Festival celebrates the town’s artistic heritage with two days of festivities.

This family-friendly event takes place in the heart of Old Lyme’s historic district. with activities across nine sites along Lyme Street that offer something for everyone; appealing  to your senses; eyes, ears, and taste buds.

OldLymeFestMusic, art exhibitions, youth performances, canine contest, a chef competition, artisans showing their work, domestic farm animals, hands-on kids’ activities, as well as book signings, specialty food producers and artisan bakers will all be on hand.

One of the highlights of the festival is at the Florence Griswold Museum on Friday night 7pm – 9pm: Free Concert by The Mighty Soul Drivers.
